Wow I feel like it's been forever since I've updated this thing. What can I say. Life has taken a firm hold and away I've gone. heh I feel like the month has flown right past me and I'm dizzy. I'm trying to apply for school to get my bachelor's degree, working a new schedule (which is nothing but exhausting to say the least), my birthday dinner at the japanese hibachi grill, and my fiance has gotten me hooked on a mmorpg. Star Wars Galaxies anyone? Yeah, so I've been spending nights that I'm not doing photography glued to a screen shooting at people and playing spy. It's a nice outlet after listening to people bitch at me all day. I take out my frustrations on the bad guys.

So, I went to my birthday dinner Sunday night, even though I took the day off for my birthday today. My brother flaked out on my dinner. It actually hurt my feelings. Our birthdays are close together. Mine is Feb 26th and his is Feb 28th. Growing up we always had to share birthday parties, but haven't done so in a while. Anyway, I wanted to have a nice dinner out with my family and my best friend and her family. At the last minute he called me and told me he wasn't going to make it because he was hung over from the night before. He got piss ass drunk on a fifth of whiskey, and my poor sister in law was up all night cleaning up his puke. So, not only did he ruin it for him, but also her. He knew about this dinner for over a week, and his birthday isn't until this Thursday. Why couldn't he party this weekend? He admitted he's not got anything planned. My dad, my bf and her family, my fiance, and I went anyway and had a good time. The chef was cooking the fried rice and tried to make it into a "birthday cake" which my best friend mentioned it looked like a huge butt to which the chef started singing Sir Mix Alot's "Baby Got Back". Good times. :ROFL:

Come Monday at work, I got a bouquet of peruvian lilies, daisies, carnations, and roses. B- E- A uiful flowers. Of course, I couldn't help but pluck a few of the flowers and take pictures. :LOL:
